Launch of Optus iPhone 4 Launch, Australia

Optus in conjunction with Apple wished to celebrate & establish themselves as the number one telecommunications carrier for the iPhone in Australia. How might we engage multiple mobile phone user groups (and create fast followers) with an iPhone & Optus relationship?
A week long experiential event in the prominent Circular Quay, sought to target various user groups by providing a series of engaging, key advocates across themes within a drop-in environment that allowed people to touch and play with iPhones, conduct meetings, relax and learn. Simultaneously, existing customers were treated to special events on the side that led to the very promminent and much anticipated midnight launch in Australia of the iPhone 4.
